Pending invites
Connection requests you've sent that haven't been accepted or declined. A large pending pile is both a targeting report card and a quiet risk factor.
Hundreds of ignored invites tell LinkedIn the same thing a low acceptance rate does: people don't want what you're sending. Standard hygiene is withdrawing pending invites older than 3–4 weeks — they're dead weight by then. Withdraw in small batches over days; a mass-withdrawal spike is itself an automation signature. Then fix the targeting that created the pile.
