Reply rate
The share of delivered messages that get any response. Useful for comparing copy angles; useless as a safety signal — acceptance rate is the number that predicts restrictions.
Two honesty rules. First, direction matters: naive tooling counts any last message in a thread as a 'reply', which can overstate real replies severalfold — count only inbound. Second, sample size: under 20 observations is anecdote, 20–49 is early signal, 50+ with a consistent gap is a finding. Any tool reporting reply rate to two decimal places on 15 sends is decorating noise.
