Expandi vs HeyReach: a referee's call
Two of the category's $10M ARR businesses, built for different buyers. Expandi sells a cloud-based automation seat to sales teams at $99 a month, or $79 on annual billing. HeyReach sells multi-sender orchestration to agencies at $79 a month per sender on its Growth plan, with agency bundles from $999 a month for 25 senders. This page compares them on the questions that decide a purchase, and says plainly where LinkedBoost is and is not the better answer.
Pricing, verbatim from both pricing pages (September 2026)
- 1
Expandi. Business plan $99 per account per month, $79 on annual billing, described on the page as "2 months free". Agency plan is custom from 10 seats.
- 2
HeyReach. Growth $79/mo per sender with unlimited senders; quarterly $71/seat/mo; yearly $63/seat/mo. Agency $999/mo for 25 senders. Unlimited $2,999/mo, capped at 300 senders. An early-stage programme exists for companies under $250K ARR with fewer than five employees.
- 3
The crossover. At one to three seats HeyReach is cheaper per seat. At 25 seats HeyReach's Agency plan works out to about $40 per sender per month, a figure Expandi only reaches on a custom quote. Our arithmetic from the published prices, not a vendor claim.
Who each one is built for
- 1
Expandi: the single sales team. Cloud-based, campaign builder, webinars and founder-led content. It is the tool a sales manager buys for five reps who each run their own campaigns.
- 2
HeyReach: the agency. Sender rotation across many client seats, a unified inbox the team lives in, and pricing that rewards volume. HeyReach's own inflection point was the agencies-only pivot at $15K MRR.
- 3
Neither: the solo operator who works with an AI agent. Both assume a person in a dashboard building campaigns. If your day already runs through Claude, the dashboard is the overhead.
The restriction record, from the public sources
Expandi's public wound is its review record: G2 and Reddit threads describing restrictions on mature accounts, and refund complaints. Expandi does not publish a restriction rate. HeyReach's own LinkedIn company page was removed in March 2026 in a vendor-level takedown, the clearest signal yet that LinkedIn now acts against vendors and not only users. HeyReach does not publish a restriction rate either. LinkedBoost publishes restrictions per managed seat per rolling 90 days with the methodology attached, and shows the sample size before the number.
Where LinkedBoost fits, honestly
Pick Expandi for a visual campaign builder and its power-user feature set. Pick HeyReach for multi-sender agency operations and an established shared inbox. Consider LinkedBoost for a small, reviewed LinkedIn workflow from Claude. It does not offer HeyReach's sender rotation, Expandi's dashboard, or a published restriction-rate percentage yet.
