Waalaxy vs LinkedBoost: cloud sequences or an assistant workflow

The old extension comparison is obsolete

Waalaxy's July 1, 2026 announcement says its primary execution is cloud-based. An optional import extension remains, but leaving a browser extension installed is no longer the defining execution requirement. A comparison that calls Waalaxy an extension-only tool is describing an older product.

The announcement describes importing by pasting a LinkedIn search URL into the app. Evaluate that current workflow with a real search and inspect the imported records. Do not assume that a changed import interface gives access to data beyond the connected LinkedIn account's entitlements.

Select the required channel before comparing prices

Waalaxy separates LinkedIn-focused plans from Business's email sequences. Its public page displays multiple billing selectors, so record the chosen term, currency, tax treatment, and final payable amount before comparing it with a monthly USD workspace plan.

A plan's invitation quantity is product capacity. It is not a promise that LinkedIn will permit every invitation, and this edition does not derive a supposed usable maximum from an invented LinkedIn weekly number. During a trial, inspect reply handling, data export, and any inbox add-on you actually need.

What choosing LinkedBoost commits you to

LinkedBoost supports Claude, ChatGPT, Instinct, and Meta Muse. The workflow is account-scoped search or CSV import, audience review, sequence preparation, and work on existing inbox threads through a hosted MCP toolset.

Start with a concrete audience and inspect the returned people. Check interaction history, review exact recipients and draft text before consequential actions, and inspect final state afterward. A queued operation is not evidence of a sent invitation or message. Do not assume a prompt alone establishes a universal approval gate across every client and tool.

LinkedBoost starts at $29 per workspace per month. Account capacity, credits, and checkout terms determine the actual bill. Native email delivery, native CRM synchronization, a visual campaign builder, and a white-label client portal are not included in this comparison's LinkedBoost scope. A team that relies on those capabilities should budget for the existing stack or choose a product that includes them.

Moving from Waalaxy to LinkedBoost

Split LinkedIn steps from email steps before moving a Business campaign. Preserve email opt-outs as exclusions and identify where remaining email work will live. LinkedBoost does not replace Waalaxy's native email sequences, so moving only contacts would leave part of the workflow undefined.

A contact import is not a campaign migration. Templates, timers, sender assignment, conversation direction, and opt-outs need separate checks. Keep the original export as a dated reference and record any fields the destination cannot represent.

1. Pause Waalaxy campaigns and confirm no scheduled actions remain active for the migrating accounts. Record the last completed action for each person.
2. Export the permitted contact data, sender identity, prior contact timestamps, replies, and exclusions. Match people by stable LinkedIn profile identifiers; names and company names alone are weak deduplication keys.
3. Import a small sample into LinkedBoost. Inspect one new contact, one pending invitation, one accepted contact, one replier, and one do-not-contact record before considering the rest of the list.
4. Rebuild only the remaining appropriate steps. Do not replay an invitation, reset an unanswered follow-up timer, or put a person who replied back into a cold sequence.
5. Confirm pause and reply handling with your team before resuming. Assign one owner for reconciliation and keep only one sending system active per account.

Account risk is part of the purchase

LinkedIn prohibits unauthorized automated activity. Cloud execution, a dedicated IP, an AI interface, and human approval do not establish permission from LinkedIn. Compare operational controls separately from platform authorization.

Ask each vendor to demonstrate a pause, a reply arriving during a sequence, a failed action, and the audit trail. Treat restriction percentages as unverified unless the vendor supplies the observed accounts, restricted accounts, observation window, and exclusions. LinkedBoost's restriction-rate percentage is still measuring; it cannot support a claim of lower risk than another vendor.
