Account restriction
Any limitation LinkedIn places on an account — from a temporary invite block to a full suspension requiring ID verification. The spectrum matters: most restrictions are recoverable warnings; repeat offenses aren't.
The usual ladder: a CAPTCHA or verification prompt, then an 'unusual activity' notice, then a temporary restriction (hours to weeks), then permanent loss. Each rung is information. The correct response at every stage is the same and nobody likes it: stop completely, let the account cool for days, and resume at a fraction of prior volume. Accounts die when operators treat a warning as an inconvenience instead of a final notice.
