Dogfooding
Using your own product to run your own operation: in outbound tooling, selling the tool with campaigns the tool itself sends.
In this category, dogfooding is both proof and self-discipline: the vendors people trust publish their own campaign numbers, run through their own product. It has a compounding marketing property: every real result becomes a receipt: and an honesty property: if your own team won't run outbound through your tool at its enforced limits, that says everything a buyer needs to know.
In practice
Evaluate an internally run campaign using its audience, observation dates, send counts, and outcomes rather than a headline result.
What to check
One team's campaign is a case study. It does not establish typical customer outcomes or a platform-wide restriction rate.
