Intent data

Third-party behavioral data suggesting an account is researching a category — content consumption, review-site activity, search patterns — sold by providers as buying-readiness scores.

Useful, with two caveats. Provenance: much intent data is aggregated and inferred, so treat scores as a prioritization hint, never as a fact you cite to the prospect ('I saw you were researching…' is both creepy and frequently wrong). Freshness: intent decays in weeks. Public first-party signals — what the person actually posted, hired for, or shipped — beat purchased intent on both reliability and message quality.
