Signal-based outreach
Prospecting triggered by something that just happened — a job change, funding round, hiring spree, or a post the prospect wrote — instead of working a static list top to bottom.
Signals solve the two problems lists can't: timing and relevance. A person who posted about retail margins yesterday has a reason to answer a message about retail margins today; the same message in six weeks is noise. The trade-off is supply — signal-qualified prospects arrive in a trickle, not a spreadsheet, which is why signal motions suit steady daily pacing (and enforced caps) far better than batch blasting ever did.
