add_columns
Declare research columns on a saved lead group using add_columns.
Previously documented as add_data_points. This URL is retained for existing links; the current operation is add_columns.
Before you start
Choose the group and define each column's permanent key, instruction, and type. Category columns also need allowed options.
Example request
Add a boolean column for whether each company has an open RevOps role, with a clear research instruction.
A task request for your connected assistant. It may require several tool calls; it is not an API payload.
Check the result
The columns are created for the agent to research. Write findings separately with write_column_values.
Boundaries
The older add_data_points name is not registered in the reviewed backend. Columns do not trigger a data provider or automatically fill themselves.
