Suppression list
A maintained set of people or companies excluded from outreach, based on opt-outs, prior contact, customer status, or another explicit policy.
Suppression needs maintained identities, explicit policy, and checks where outreach is authorized. Imports and stored history can inform that work, but their coverage can be incomplete. In LinkedBoost, verify do-not-contact flags and active enrollments separately; a lookup does not establish a no-duplicate guarantee.
In practice
Reconcile historical source lists with saved identities, then set explicit exclusions and verify active enrollments before outreach.
What to check
No stored history is complete by definition. A CSV import, group membership, and a company lookup do not guarantee duplicate prevention.
